A Star is Born

Last August, I received an email from Getty Images regarding the licensing of one of my photos of Fox. He was being considered for a major ad campaign for  Takara-jima Publishing in Japan. Here's his ad as it appeared in six Japanese newspapers and in the NY Times and Washington Post. The Lab is not my image, the Shiba Inu is my dog, Fox. The photograph in the ad is a composite. Shaka

What a fantastic little dog! Shaka is a Manchester Terrier. Like most terriers, her personality is larger than life. I think I managed to capture a little piece of her soul.

 

 

 

 

Reggie! Ready for Adoption!

We met in Olympia on a stormy autumn day for this session. For half an hour, the heavy clouds parted and gave us some glorious sunshine to get these shots before darkness and rain returned for the day. Reggie is available for adoption. (Family Dogs New Life Shelter)
